Place the chip in the 19-36 box in the outside section. It wins at 1 to 1 whenever the ball lands on 19 through 36.

When this bet makes sense
High fits a player who wants even-money swings and has a reason to favor the far end of the layout, such as inside bets already placed there. High covers the whole third dozen and the upper half of the second, 19 through 24. Adding a third-dozen bet to a high bet backs 25 through 36 twice, so wins get bigger and losses arrive together.
