How the Straight Up Bet Works
A straight-up bet covers a single number. You can place it on any number on the layout, including zero, and on 00 on an American wheel.
Set the chip fully inside the number's box, clear of the lines around it. A chip that touches a line counts as a split or a corner instead.
The bet wins only when the ball lands on that exact number. It pays 35 to 1, and you keep the original chip.
When this bet makes sense
A straight-up bet suits a player who wants a large win from a small stake and accepts long losing runs to get it. Most spins lose, so the bankroll has to cover many misses in a row. It fits short sessions where one big payout matters more than steady results. A small chip on each spin gives you more spins to find a hit.
